Abstract
With
the future of entertainment focused on technological advancement, video games
in the present circumstances have become more realistic than before. In
addition, the violence and nature of the derivatives within the perpetrated
themes has encouraged its growth. It has necessitated on the analysis towards
the effect witnessed on the young adults and children in terms of the
aggression. In the study conducted and analysis prompted forthwith, negative
effects are numerous. The article looks at the overplaying dimension of the
video games towards acts of violence. The mental disturbance in growth and
development of the young children is then dissected together withy statistical
analysis of sample populations. The time analysis of correlation with education
performance is delivered according to the child’s mental status. Psychological
problems, which arise from the effects of video games use by the growing children,
are deliberated on the long-term scope with a keen eye on the future prospects
of curbing them. The article provides for analysis using statistical methods
and referencing especially with expert advice and voices of concerns. It then
concludes through mitigation efforts and overall improvement basis toward
rectifying the problems.
