Asking for a sale is imperative to achieving our short-term goals. Because of this importance, it is important to construct an effective way of selling. Hence, the process that I will follow involves utilizing a verbal approach. To be a great sales person, it is important to be verbally persuasive in order to elicit a favorable response from the customer. Thus, using this verbal approach, I will be able to be exercise flexibility by explaining to the customer of how the product will benefit them. I will also apply a practical illustration of the problem that the product can solve in order to elicit an emotional response.
The main action plan that I will have for my follow up will involve certain steps. Foremost, it will be imperative to ensure that the marketing groundwork is covered. This will guarantee that the customer is already aware of the product under offer. Secondly, it will be imperative to associate with the prospect in terms of finding details about them or their company. Thirdly, it is also important to make a follow-up call after establishing the connection with the customer. This will enable the customer to familiarize and be much more open and predisposed towards me.
In order to apply a systematic follow-up, I will ensure that the process commences a day after the completion of the sale. Based on this, the first thing that I will do is to set aside a specific day and date in which I will follow-up on the respective customer. This will take place after I have informed the customer of the mechanisms that I will utilize in order to conduct the approach. In addition to this, I will also allow the customer to choose which mechanism is suitable for him or her. Subsequently, I will also record the follow-up mechanism in my planner. Lastly, after the purchase of the product, I will call the customer to ensure that the respective product underwent delivery on time and that it fulfills his or her needs.
